We are going pure sunshine and pure luxury for 6 nights in a purpose built yoga retreat venue tucked away in the mountains of Southern France with the border of Spain at our feet. This retreat is designed to make you feel empowered and excited about your body and movement.

 

Feel like you've learned new skills and ways to move. Push yourself physically through the yoga and mentally through meditation, pranayama and additional activities.

Connection

Reconnect to yourself. What does self and gratitude mean? Away from social media and comparison you can connect to yourself without distraction. You will be guided guided with the use of yoga as a tool for to connect, regain confidence and find your place.

 Daily yoga practice makes you feel stronger and in control. You will build strength and compassion for your own body and see the potential it holds.  Put yourself first, feel strong and empowered, find your voice in your community.

 

Inspiration

Learn how to create a home practice that fits into your busy schedule. Walk away happy and motivated about your yoga practice, self care and change of habits to help live a more healthy and happy life.

WHY RETREAT?

My retreats will always have a very teacher/learning element to them. I want the you to come away feeling like you have had a yoga experience like never before. You will learn about your body, developed proprioception, understand some anatomy, work through old injury narratives, have postures broken down and the safety of them, developed your own practice and skills. Let’s get rid of the word ‘can’t’

 

 A retreat allows us all to unplug. It allows us to see ourselves. This clarity allows us to see strength and power and ability as a person without everything else. Be tenacious, be strong, be emotional, be connected, and  be capable. There will be structured mornings and evenings, some included activities that you can take part in or opt out of. The rest of your day will be yours to fill how you choose. Take time by the pool, read a book, jump in the car and explore the surrounding areas, go on a hike up a mountain or have those naps you never have time for

 

Each morning begins with a peaceful meditation, followed by a strong, fiery 90 min hot yoga practice. Challenge your mind and body in these classes finding determination and tenacity. You will be given free time to explore the nature around us, sit in a quiet corner to read and enjoy the outdoors or pool. Your evening will be a lighthearted yoga workshop or Yin practice and meditation will allow your energy to soften and turn your focus even deeper within. We will enjoy a nourishing evening meal together, discuss our day, laugh and fully unwind. The rest of the evening is yours to retreat to your rooms and get an early night, read a book, make use of the summer night or continue to socialise and make memories.

  • 2 yoga classes a day - morning (Yang - strong & fiery) & evening (Yin - restorative & nurturing)

Bedroom Options

1. Single bed in shared room with 1 or 2 others: £930pp (£890 paid in full)
2. Double bed for £930 per person (£890 paid in full per person)
3. Private Room (great for someone who wants a room to themselves ) £1750 total (£1700 paid in full)
 
 


Glamping Tent Options

1. Two single beds : £750pp (£715 paid in full)
2. Double bed in glamping tent: £750 per person or £1400 on your own (£1365 paid in full)

THE YOGA

Join Meegan Bradley for your daily yoga classes and workshops. She believes learning is power, especially when taught in an accessible and friendly way. She has been teaching yoga intensively for over 4 years now and have done bespoke training in assists and adjusts, yin yoga, using props to aid practice and yoga for sport. She also runs her own yoga studio Hotpod Yoga Margate. She believes learning never stops and one of the most beneficial things we can do for ourselves is to be self reflective practitioners.

Her teaching style is non-judgemental and friendly. There is no ‘bad’ at yoga but there are ways that we can use our own personal alignment and body awareness to improve mobility and strength. Working with Meegan on yoga retreats gives you a chance to do classes in smaller groups, discuss your practice personally with her during your time and the opportunity for 1:1 sessions on retreat to work on anything specific you would like as well.  At the end of the retreat you will leave with more clarity, strength and confidence which will help empower you in your yoga practice moving forward!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

THE FOOD


Meals by Charlotte of Oat Kitchen use local, seasonal and organic produce wherever possible. You won’t ever find refined sugar or ingredients with additives or preservatives. She keeps it natural! If you haven't had or seen Charlotte's food you are in for a sensational experience. Not only is her food delicious but it is quite simply stunning. 

Food plays a major part in the experience of a retreat or event so you want to get it right! Charlotte and Oat Kitchen absolutely love food so expect shared recipes that get you as excited about plant-based food as us!

She creates bespoke menus for yoga and wellness retreats, using local, seasonal and organic produce wherever possible.

During your retreat she will strive to towards creating as little waste as possible with her creative and experimental approach to cooking.

 

No morning is ever the same. Dinner with Charlotte is a family affair- with food on big platters filled with colour, incredible food, flavour combinations and very full bellies

THE VENUE

Guest accommodation is provided in the 12th century stone coach house which has been recently renovated and restored to provide a farmhouse feel with the modern comforts you need. 

The space in the retreat house is flexible, with a 4 bedroom house that boasts a large semi-professional kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms and a separate activity space. An additional 2 self-contained studio apartments offer guests extra privacy, ideal for teachers needing a quiet area.

All 6 bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms.

 

GLAMPING TENTS
 

Each Bell Tent is 5m wide and 3m high in the middle, providing ample space. They are fully furnished with a double bed, or 2 single beds, luxury coconut matting on the floor; bedside tables with lamps; chest storage; seating with a table; and space for hanging clothes. 

Each bell tent comes with it’s own eco-toilet, and access to a communal shower block 40metres away. We provide torches and lanterns for use during your stay.

Each Tent is placed in it’s own spot of our private oak woodlands, chosen for it’s peace & natural beauty.

Follow a solar powered illuminated walkway to your own secluded spot. As you sleep out under the stars, you’ll be deafened by the silence.

 

No traffic, voices or disruptions. Maybe you’ll never leave!

 

BREATHTAKING VIEWS


We invite those seeking a hidden & quiet place, away from the usual touristic trail, yet still easily accessible.


“WOW this is more than I expected!”

Walk anywhere round the Domaine and you’ll be constantly taken aback by the beautiful view of the Pyrenees mountains. Watch the mist rolling in the Valley below, and see the sun travel across the sky. Cool off under the large trees and soak up the magnificent scenery.


Domaine de Mournac is in Southern France, just South of Carcassonne, very close to the Pyrenees mountains and the border with Spain. Benefiting from glorious sunshine most of the time, but still with green and lush vegetation. You can walk amongst the woodlands in the domaine, or walk up through the vineyards surrounding the property.
